The following additions can be added to your existing website whether or not I am your designer.
If you have a Wine Club, then you'll want take advantage of the immediacy of the web by allowing site visitors to sign up for your wine club online. The form I've come up with collects member information (you'll need a security certificate if you want to collect credit card information) and email's their information to you.
The $250 fee includes installation of the form and customizing it with your information and website design.

A website that is kept updated with current/coming news, events, and wine releases excites your visitors and makes them want to come back for more! To help you do this, I've come up with an online content management system that will allow you to easily edit current pages and create new ones -- all you need is access to an internet connection and a computer!
Maintaining a consistent look through all your media is very important for furthering your brand. This package helps you with that by creating a 'favicon' from your logo for your website (a favicon is the tiny image that shows up at the top of the browser next to your page title and when you bookmark a page) and by creating an eNewsletter template you can use in MailChimp (MailChimp is one of the only newsletter programs that allows your designer to create a template for you) to keep in touch with your website visitors and wine club members. I've tried out a lot of eNewsletter programs including Constant Contact and Vertical Response, but my new favorite is MailChimp for one, VERY important reason -- it allows me to easily create a custom mail template for you to use so your newsletters can look just like your website design!
The $250 fee includes creating your favicon, setting up your eNewsletter account with MailChimp, adding their sign-up form to your website, creating a custom template based on your website design and 300 email credits.
Once your site is developed, you'll want to keep it updated with your current wines, awards, events and pictures. If you'd rather I handle these changes but are concerned about the expense, this package would be perfect for you! In the years I've been updating winery websites, I've found that most changes (updating text and changing out pictures) only take a few minutes. With this in mind, I wanted to offer you enough time in my maintenance package to make the changes you need, while still being affordable. 4 hours per year to use as you see fit seems to be the magic number. If you want me to spend 30 minutes per month updating your site, I could do that, or, you could save it up and only use me a few times a year to make big changes -- it's completely up to you!
A good way to add interactivity to your website and show off beautiful pictures of your place is to have a Flash Photo Collage. These are usually made up of 3 to 5 pictures that fade into each other.
I can also add text to the images describing what is happening and they can even be made 'clickable' taking the visitor to that part of your website. For example, if one of the images in your Flash collage is of a new wine release, I could make it so when a visitor clicked on that particular image they would be taken to where the new wine is for sale in your store.
An active wine blog is a WONDERFUL way to bring in visitors to your site and inspire loyalty. Visitors will be able to read about what is going on in your vineyard and winery, post their comments and begin to feel like part of your family. This in turn will inspire them to purchase your wines and become members of your wine club. Believe it or not, some VERY small wineries have made BIG names for themselves by regularly posting to their wine blog as part of their online marketing efforts.
Using the Word Press platform, I'll install the blog onto your site, customize it with your web design, and, if you've already created a WordPress blog somewhere else, I can easily import your settings and posts to the new blog I created!
A note of caution: a wine blog that is not kept up sends the same message as an empty tasting room with cobwebs on the bottles. I advise against getting a wine blog unless you and/or your team are committed to posting to it at least once a month.
$250 for 12 Bottles or, $25 per Bottle
Having professional quality bottle shots of your wine looks wonderful on your website and print materials. My studio is set up ONLY for wine bottle photography and once the pictures are taken, I will give you the full quality images to use however you choose.
